Description

    The Elk (Emergency Lifting Cushion) is a compact inflatable cushion used to assist an uninjured person who has fallen. This system so light and portable it can be used inside or outside.
    The deflated cushion is placed beneath the recumbent person and inflated section by section using a battery-operated air supply. The patient is raised into a seated position from which they can stand easily. The Elk can be operated by a single caregiver, and will lift up to 450kg, minimizing moving and handling risks to the caregiver.
